eVA

Virginia’s eVA system is a web-based purchasing system used by Virginia government. State agencies, colleges, universities and many local governments use eVA to announce bid opportunities, invite bidders, receive quotes, and place orders for goods and services. 

Most importantly this system opens selling to the state to a broader number of vendors.  As a result, eVA is increasing competition, fostering more effective negotiations, and delivering greater efficiency to taxpayers.

The eVA system has earned the prestigious Digital Government Award given annually in federal, state, local government, and higher education categories for best practices in services delivered via the internet.
